I think it is ridiculous to name a cat completely unlike it looks like - Tawnyspots is neither tawny nor has spots. Not talking about tawny spots. Why they couldn't name him like, Tuftear? Or, Ambereye. Something reasonable!

i understand what yur getting at but the queens name their kits what they wish... i wouldnt want to be asking why they named him that... they would have a cow a horse and a sheep lol

It's a lot like Tawnypelt - she started out as a ginger kitten and turned into a dark tortoiseshell. There's nothing tawny about her. =P
